Family members and alumni joined them for the special occasion including Chief Executive Officer Steve Latour, Central Missouri; National President Jonathan Proehl, UW – River Falls; WPN Housing Manager John Heiman, Central Missouri; Director of Collegiate Services Erik Kahl, UW – La Crosse; and Former Trustee Cathy Heiman.

Since their restart during the Spring 2015 semester, the chapter has grown from 15 to 52 active members. In addition to their strong recruitment, the chapter’s 12 new fall initiates finished 2nd in grades amongst all other chapters of Missouri Greek Life.

“It was an honor to be a part of the Beta Alpha Re-Chartering Ceremony. These men are world class and have made a solid name for themselves on campus. They continue to recruit men of the highest caliber, having some of the best grades of fraternity men at Mizzou.”  said Chief Executive Officer, Steve Latour, Central Missouri.  “I am so proud of the actions that led them to this day and cannot wait to see what they accomplish in the years to come.”

At the ceremony, CEO Steve Latour announced that the Sigma Tau Gamma Foundation established the University of Missouri Endowment for the Beta Alpha Chapter. This fund allows chapter members to attend developmental and leadership conferences.
