May 8, 2015 – Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity welcomes Dean Anderson, Purdue ‘12, as one of its new Recruitment & Growth Coordinators. He will oversee expansion projects and assist with recruitment of new members to the Fraternity.

AndersonAnderson joined the Fraternity in Spring 2012 during the re-installation of the Beta Theta Chapter at Purdue University. He served on the Recruitment Committee during the chapter’s first independent recruitment effort. The following year, Anderson served as the chapter’s Vice President of Membership. His passion and assistance with the recruitment process allowed the chapter to receive its charter more quickly than any other chapter before it. Following his term as Vice President, Anderson also served as the Philanthropy Chair. This past summer, Anderson was a candidate for the Board of Directors as an undergraduate. The experience taught him a lot and made him even more excited to apply to work on the Headquarters Staff.

“I’ve been incredibly blessed by the gift of fraternity and have benefitted since joining so I’m excited to give that gift to future generations of men,” said Anderson.

In addition to his involvement in Sigma Tau Gamma, Anderson also worked with the recruitment and admission process at Purdue. He worked in the Office of Admissions as a volunteer tour guide all four years at Purdue, meeting with prospective and admitted students and their families. He was also a College of Science Ambassador dealing with recruitment of students to the specific college.

Anderson’s first day will be Monday, July 6, 2015.
