Uebelhor Departs Staff

UebelhorApril 28, 2015 – Collegiate Services Coordinator, Austin Uebelhor, Gamma Phi ’11, has announced his departure from the Sigma Tau Gamma Headquarters Staff. He departs the staff to accept a position as a Research Assistant with the Indiana University Center for Aging Research in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Uebelhor joined the Headquarters staff in June 2013 as a Chapter Development Counselor. During his time on staff, he worked closely with the Theta Chapter at Northwest Missouri State University to help them re-charter in Spring 2015. Additionally, Uebelhor coordinated the 2015 Regional Conclaves for all regions as well as the educational programming for the William P. Bernier Grand Chapter in New Orleans. He was also responsible for the first revision and electronic publication of the “Sigma Tau Gamma Song Book” since its initial creation in 1940.

In his two years on staff, Uebelhor has worked diligently for the good of the Fraternity. When asked about his time on staff, Uebelhor said, “Working for Sigma Tau Gamma has been a unique experience I couldn’t get anywhere else. I appreciate the time that I’ve spent working for the Fraternity, and I’m looking forward to helping Sigma Tau Gamma in new ways as a volunteer in the future.” Uebelhor departs staff on April 30, 2015.


Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity was founded by veterans of World War I in Warrensburg, Missouri at the University of Central Missouri. On June 28, 2020 it will commemorate its 100th Anniversary. Today, there are more than 3,000 undergraduate members on 70 college/university campuses in 24 states. There are 58,560 living alumni.
